This Privacy Policy explains how the iPhone app "FocalCalc" (the "App") handles information.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not collect any personal information or other data. The App makes no network connections and does not send any information to the developer or to third parties.
2. Information Processed on Your Device
To provide its features, the App uses the following only on your device.
- Camera: used to measure the angle of view, display equivalent focal lengths, and take photos. The camera feed is processed on the device and is neither stored nor transmitted.
- Photo Library (add only): used to add a photo to your library when you press the shutter button. The App does not read your existing photos. Saved photos include the equivalent focal length and a caption (for example, "FF 24mm | APS-C 16mm (diag, FocalCalc)"). The App does not record location.
- Settings: sensor sizes you register and display preferences are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete the App.
3. Third Parties, Advertising, and Analytics
The App does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking tools, and does not share information with third parties.
4. Your Choices
You can change camera and photo access at any time in the iPhone Settings app. Photos taken with the App can be deleted in the Photos app.
5. Children
Because the App does not collect any information, it does not collect information from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
